'Common Sense' presents many opportunities for follow up activities for a variety of organisations. These are summarised below:-
Schools
Common Sense as a multi-media exhibition addresses many areas of the National Curriculum at all key stages and offers an unusual opportunity for teachers to organise both cross-curricular activities as well as subject specific projects. Projects could be developed in Art, Music, Literacy (Welsh and English) and History. Attainment targets for delivering schemes of work based on local heritage and contemporary creative practice can also be met. Common Sense has been created by local artists based on your local heritage and is touring your area, making it more easily accessed than many school trip venues. Suggested activities include :-
Ø Visit to the Common Sense exhibition (see tour schedule for events in your area)
Ø Using the exhibition as a start point, development of a similar or related activity in your subject area or a cross-curricular one.
Ø Booking our artists for a seminar about the work.
Ø Booking a workshop or a series of sessions in Art, Music or creative writing in English or Welsh.

Community Groups
Any group with an interest in their local heritage and the environment, Art, Music, Creative Writing or the Welsh language may wish to enhance their programme of events, by booking a talk, workshop or a bespoke series of sessions in any of the areas listed above. The format can be flexible to suit your needs, so if you have a specific idea, we are more than happy to discuss it with you, so you can organise something just the way you want it. You may wish just to hear more about the creation of the work, or you may like to develop your own as a result, or perhaps to get more involved in a specific creative area. Our menu can include:-
Ø Booking our artists for a talk about the work.
Ø Booking a workshop or a series of sessions in Art, Music or creative writing in English or Welsh
Ø Booking an artist to help you develop a project of your own
Ø A Private Visit to the Common Sense exhibition with the artists talking about the work (see tour schedule for events in your area)
Ø A mini Common Sense exhibition – i.e. a dvd screening of our work.
